Adoptable Dog Profiles
To improve the user experience and simplify the profile creation process for prospective dog adopters, we designed a standard template for posting dog bios. Our solution not only provided a consistent look and feel throughout the site but also allowed us to implement tags and categories for specific traits, making it easier for users to browse and find their perfect match. Additionally, we strategically featured dogs by category throughout the site, enhancing their visibility and adoption rates.
Contact forms and Chatbots
We tackled the issue of volunteer email overload by revamping the Contact Us page. Instead of a general email address, we added links to our Frequently Asked Questions and included contact forms to direct inquiries to the appropriate team. This not only reduced the amount of spam but also minimized the time volunteers spent answering repetitive questions.
To further improve user experience, we introduced Pugbot, an AI chat bot that provides quick answers to common questions about our rescue. With Pugbot, volunteers can now spend more time on critical tasks, and adopters can get the information they need without having to wait for an email response.
